Wendy first started casting while working for commercial print photographer Jeff Kauck, after earning her Bachelors of Fine Art degree from the University of Cincinnati’s school of Design, Art & Architecture and Commercial Photography degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography in 1985.

Besides running Jeff Kauck’s studio she handled all the castings from babies for Pampers shoots and beauty models for Pantene to cute kids who liked to eat Jif. As the business evolved from print to a mix of both print & film, Wendy found she had an eye for identifying different talent needs for different mediums.

As the business’ reputation and demand grew, Jeff Kauck moved his studio to Chicago, and Wendy began casting freelance for top accounts in Cincinnati as well as Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

After several successful years casting on her own, Wendy joined the exciting agency & production company RED212, and served as both Broadcast Manager and in-house Casting Director.

By 2008, Wendy again transitioned to casting freelance, and in 2011 made it a full-time commitment when she founded Wendy McAdams Casting.
